Once you have obtained the information described in the Obtaining Information from your Administrator section for yourself (or another user that you are setting up), use that information to set up QuickTask on your device.
Procedure
Once the application launches and you are on the Login screen, touch and hold (“long hold”) on the QuickTask Header Title. A settings pop-up will display. Select it.
Enter information into the fields on the AMSI Preferences page:NOTE: Enter the User Name, Password, and Employee ID of the person who will be using QuickTask on the device
User Name: Enter the user’s AMSI username. This becomes the default username on the QuickTask login page. Entering a user name is optional.
Password: Enter the user’s AMSI password. This becomes the default password on the QuickTask login page. Entering your password is optional.
AMSI API URL: Enter the AMSI API URL, from the About Settings page in the Systems module.
Database Set: Enter the Portfolio name, from the About Settings page in the Systems module.
Employee ID: Enter the user’s employee ID. This is required setup for the Manage feature if you want to be able to work with “Assigned to me” tasks.
Congratulations! You are finished setting up QuickTask. Next, you must complete this procedure: Granting User Security Permissions.
